Translation of the Hebrew captions to the pictures:
1. Holy books are burned by order of priests;
2. The priest who burned the books was passing in his chariot over the bridge, it broke under him, and he fell into the depths of the sea with the rider, the chariot, and the horses.
3. When the heart of the bishop was merry with wine, the demons threw him from his throne, and he writhed in illness, falling to the ground for three days;
4. After his death, the bishop began to harm his priests and advisors, who had assisted in burning the holy books, and he was dug up from his grave. His head was cut off . . . but later that day, he returned with his head between his arms and killed more of them and warned them that if they did not burn him in the place where he had burned the holy books, there would be no priest left in his diocese.
